Beecher Walker, an award-winning architecture and interior design firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah, is looking for a spirited, detail-oriented Interior Designer with experience in commercial, hospitality, and residential projects. The ideal candidate is a champion of great work and will thrive in our fast-paced environment. We are looking for a dynamic designer who can easily transition from focused solo work to melding and collaborating with the rest of our design team. This person will embrace ownership and drive projects from conceptual design through procurement and installation.

•Assist in sourcing materials, furniture design, fabrics, lighting, art, and finishes
•Drawing custom furniture pieces
•Creating detailed Specifications, including FF+E
•Developing finish, fixtures, equipment, and hardware schedules
•Preparing renderings and graphic layouts for client presentations
•Tracking, ordering, and processing purchase orders and maintaining budgets for multiple vendors and clients
•Assisting with construction drawing sets

Skills + Experience:
•4-6 years’ experience in interiors or architecture, and a degree from an accredited school of interior design or architecture
•Knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and Installation
•High proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam skills
•Substantial rendering ability
•Strong written and verbal communications
•Ability to work with design team and project managers
•Effective problem-solving and organizational skills
